The row continues between Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso and Juventus, as he accused Pavel Nedved of being “disrespectful. I’m not some idiot from America.”

Juve’s 3-0 victory in Turin on Sunday sparked controversy when Commisso claimed the “referee decided the match” by awarding the second penalty.

“We are still angry, because nobody has apologised to us, not Nedved or anyone else,” Commisso told TG Rai Toscana today.

“If it had just been one incident, I wouldn’t have said anything, but seeing as it was three different games, I will talk. There were penalties for us against Genoa and Inter, so why did nobody go to check the VAR?

“As for Juve, if they’d booked Bentancur for simulation, he would’ve been sent off and it was only 1-0 at the time.

“I want us to be treated the same way as Juventus. They bring in huge revenue, but pay the Federation exactly the same amount that we do.”

Juventus vice-president Nedved followed Commisso on DAZN after the game and his comments seem to have further infuriated the Fiorentina patron.

“Nedved cannot talk about me in such a disrespectful way. I demand respect from the Lega Serie A for the good of Italian football. I don’t need to ask anyone for favours, but I don’t like being treated like some idiot from America.”
