Reports: Brescia agree with Lopez

Multiple reports in Italy claim that Brescia are ready to sack Eugenio Corini and hire Diego Lopez on a two-and-a-half-year deal in Lombardy.

Massimo Cellino has grown tired of the poor results and are hoping that the Uruguayan can save the team and beat the drop this term.

Corini has already been sacked once this term but was re-appointed after Fabio Grosso lost three matches in a month between November and December.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Sky Sport Italia have sources to claim that Lopez will be hired on a contract running until June 2022 and are set to confirm the dismissal of Corini.

Alfredo Pedulla is claiming that the rumours that started yesterday are now confirmed and Brescia are set to change coach again.

Tomorrow might be a decisive day at the Mario Rigamonti, as Calciomercato also writes that Brescia have come to an agreement with the former Cagliari, Bologna and Palermo coach.

Diego Lopez has been without a job since his contract at Penarol in Uruguay ran out on December 31, 2019.
