President Aldo Spinelli is on the verge of selling Livorno after 21 years, with the Serie B club going to businessman Majd Yousif.
A preliminary contract has been signed and the takeover should be completed over the next few days.
Spinelli turned 80 last month and is therefore preparing his retirement after two decades in charge of the Tuscan side.
Livorno have fallen on hard times, as they are currently in the Serie B relegation zone.
Majd Yousif is in charge of the Share’n Go company, which makes and rents electric vehicles in cities.
