Sampdoria have officially extended their contract with left-back Nicola Murru to June 2024.
The 25-year-old is a Cagliari youth academy product who was purchased for €9m in the summer of 2017.
His current deal had been set to expire in June 2022.
Murru has made 82 competitive appearances for the Blucerchiati, providing eight assists, but has never scored an official goal in his entire career.
So far this season, he has played 21 Serie A games and one in the Coppa Italia.
