Parma might let their Ivorian forward Gervinho return to the fold as the player has reportedly apologised for his conduct at the end of the transfer market.
The sporting director Daniele Faggiano had previously revealed that the Crociati didn’t know what would happen with Gervinho, who skipped training for three days trying to force through a move to Al-Sadd from Qatar.
But the move never materialised because of a delay in the paperwork and Gervinho has since been left out of the squad.
The Corriere dello Sport has reported that the situation might have been resolved after a meeting, following the words from coach Roberto D’Aversa on Saturday, revealing that the 32-year-old had “taken a step towards” the Gialloblu.
The newspaper claims that Gervinho has apologised to D’Aversa and his teammates and reveal that the club could be open to let the attacker back in the group after the controversial end to January.
