Former Inter and Lazio midfelder Dejan Stankovic says Juventus “remain the team to beat” and Antonio Conte has “transformed” the Nerazzurri this season.
Stankovic recently took over as coach of Red Star Belgrade following a stint as Inter’s youth team boss.
The Serbian gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia ahead of the clash between his two former sides on Sunday.
“Juve remain the team to beat,” Stankovic told Sky Sport Italia.
“Inter and Lazio have coaches who work and their work can be seen.
“They are an example for all those coaches who want to see how they can leave a mark.
“I am very happy for Simone Inzaghi, we were teammates and for me he was a big surprise.
“If Lazio can remain 'fresh’ to the end, then they can fight for the title with Inter.
“Conte has transformed Inter, and has brought home a lot of points.
“He doesn’t give an inch, you either accept his ideas or leave.
“He is one of those coaches who dedicates himself 24 hours a day to the job. He evaluates all the details.”
