Torino boss Moreno Longo says he was happy with his side’s “spirit”, despite the loss to Milan.
The Granata lost 1-0 against the Rossoneri thanks to a first half goal from Ante Rebic, and Longo was happy with his side’s attitude.
“I can be satisfied with the spirit of the lads, the team never lost hope,” Longo told Sky Sport Italia.
“We always tried to remain in the match. That was a positive aspect of the game, we are aware of having to improve in other aspects however.
Torino have now lost their last six games in all competitions, and Longo states that the team need to do better in order to pull themselves away from the relegation zone.
“I don’t like looking at the table, we are realistic, our team is in a fight and we are aware that we need to go into battle to achieve what has become our objective as soon as possible.”
