President Claudio Lotito has claimed that “all those” who don’t support Juventus or Inter are hoping that Lazio will win the Scudetto this year.
The patron revealed that he received a lot of calls and messages after Lazio beat Inter 2-1 last weekend.
“Many from the Lazio supporters, but also many who aren’t Lazio fans,” he told Il Messaggero. “The truth is that they ask us to break Juve’s monopoly and to beat Inter.
“All those who don’t support Juve or Inter, support us.”

“The greatest satisfaction of the game on Sunday wasn’t the messages and the phone calls, but when I entered the dressing room after the match,” he added. “I enter and I see five or six players coming towards me, the levels of adrenaline.
“They were screaming; ‘Did you see it, President? We did what you told us. Did you see it, you saw it!’
“They were screaming like crazy and they are doing what we said.”
Lazio are now one point behind league leaders Juventus in Serie A and arguably hold an advantage against their two Scudetto rivals in the League, as they are out of both Europe and the Coppa Italia.
