He was in charge when Real Madrid drew 2-2 against Club Brugge at the Santiago Bernabeu and when Tottenham beat Olympiakos 4-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November.

Del Cerro Grande is another official who will take a step down from the Champions League this campaign, as he oversaw four games in the group stage of the elite tournament this term – including Napoli’s 1-1 draw at Anfield on November 27.
