Lecce announce that Filippo Falco has not sustained a serious thigh injury, while goalkeeper Mauro Vigorito signed a new contract.
The Salentini released two press statements this evening, giving updates on their players.
Tests showed that Falco, who limped off during the 2-1 win over SPAL, has suffered a minor left thigh strain, but there are fortunately no lesions.
He has already started physiotherapy and will be evaluated on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Vigorito has extended his contract with Lecce until June 2022.
It had been due to expire in June 2021, but he became increasingly important after Gabriel’s injury.
