Di Biagio says his side will need to be focused for 90 minutes if they are to get anything from the game.

“We need to play the perfect game and hope that Juve make mistakes. We will have to think about us,” said Di Biagio in his pre-game press conference.

“On paper it’s a game that we can’t win, but in this sport there are lots of surprises. Teams can get points against anyone.

“I see a team that are growing, a team that is following me with conviction. You have to improve and stay focused for 90 minutes. You have to be consistent.

“I will play with four at the back, the rest you will see tomorrow.”

SPAL are eight points from safety, but Di Biagio says they need to concentrate on themselves, rather than look at sides around them.

“We have to start winning games as soon as possible and start over, we can’t afford any more speeches.

“We don’t have to look at the other sides, we have to work a lot, we don’t have any other choice.”

Asked how his side can improve, Di Biagio says they must limit their mistakes.

“We have to improve, above all in building play and on a psychological level throughout the game.

“I have to work on this, however I have seen positive signs, but I need to see it now in matches.”

Di Biagio is a former Inter player, so is he looking to halt Juve’s title ambitions with that in mind?

“You could ask me the same question as a former Roma player, referring to Lazio. I need the three points as coach of SPAL.”
