Brescia boss Diego Lopez says his side produced a good first half display, but "the opening 10 minutes in the second half changed the game."

The Rondinelle scored early on against Napoli, but succumbed to a 2-1 defeat which keeps them in the relegation zone.

Lopez says Napoli turned the screw at the beginning of the second half.

“Napoli came out in the second half, it was 10 minutes in which we weren’t at our best,“ said Lopez in his post-game press conference.

“We had the courage to go and press Napoli high. Missing out on points seems dark, but we need to be brave and maintain our concentration.”

Lopez has tinkered with Brescia’s system in their last two games, so how is he finding the new formation?

“We also deployed the 4-3-2-1 system against Juve. I like it. There was the need to work on the wings when we didn’t have the ball.

“We played a good game, there was a very good first half. The match changed after the penalty.

Lopez denies that there is a sense of resignation amongst his players of relegation back to Serie B.

“No I don’t agree with that. The team tried to pressure Napoli high up the pitch. I think a team that has resigned itself doesn’t do this.

“The important thing is to do with against other teams, and we will find more success, we can get more points.”
