Mario Balotelli garnered more evidence of an attempted extortion plot when a teenage girl’s lawyer was caught calling her “a born actress. I want two Ferraris out of this.”

The Brescia striker lodged a police complaint for attempted extortion of €100,000 in December 2017, three weeks before the girl from Vicenza went to police claiming she had been raped.

They met when she was on vacation and he was playing in Ligue 1 for OGC Nice in July 2017.

The Brescia striker lodged a police complaint for attempted extortion of €100,000 in December 2017, three weeks before the girl from Vicenza went to police claiming she had been raped.

They met when she was on vacation and he was playing in Ligue 1 for OGC Nice in July 2017.

The Corriere della Sera newspaper has now published a conversation her lawyer, Roberto Imparato, had with a colleague straight after a phone call between Balotelli and the teenage girl on September 15, 2017.

“Just finished: Imparato 1 – Balotelli 0. I recorded for 20 minutes. I want a yellow Ferrari… and a blue one. It’s a full confession… I have to think about this, it’s a delicate situation.

“We’ve got about 100 pieces of evidence. This girl is a born actress. At the end of the day, Balotelli is a bit pitiful.”

The Corriere della Sera contacted Imparato to see what he had to say about this conversation.

“It was a joke about the Ferrari. The client and I were prepared to finish the whole thing for between €60-100,000. Balotelli was offering €30,000. Agreements are made to avoid putting the victims through a trial.

“The money was going to her and what I’d get wouldn’t be enough for a Ferrari hubcap. As for calling her an actress, we needed a confession on tape and only she could get that. I meant she had controlled her emotions, getting him to talk about that night.”

The Corriere della Sera newspaper also published excerpts from the ‘confession’ that the lawyer recorded, without Balotelli’s knowledge, when he was on the phone to the teenage girl.

This could get him into more trouble, because of this phrase.

“The third time I saw it was hurting you, I stopped.”

The girl was 16 at the time, although he insists she showed him ID proving that she was 18.
