Danilo Cataldi urges Lazio to carry on “dreaming” of the Scudetto after he scored in a 3-2 victory away to Genoa, which keeps them within a point of leaders Juventus.

Adam Marusic, Ciro Immobile and a Cataldi free kick secured the win at Marassi, despite a Francesco Cassata strike and Domenico Criscito penalty.

“We knew many Lazio fans were coming, but it still feels like a new sensation every time,” the midfielder told DAZN.

“We knew many Lazio fans were coming, but it still feels like a new sensation every time,” the midfielder told DAZN.

“It’s a very important win, we’re so happy and want to keep going like this. There’s no harm in dreaming, but there are 13 rounds to go, so we’ll see where we are in a month and then talk.

“It was a very good first half, it’s a pity we didn’t take the chances that we created to double our lead, as it’s always tough in Genoa and we know especially when they’re battling against relegation that it’s not going to be easy.

“Scoring a goal is always positive, for some reason I always score our third goal! I am not a hitman by any means, but I like to help the team take the win home.

“It has become a marvellous family and we really celebrate together.”
