Napoli have reportedly made an offer for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, with Rondinelle President Massimo Cellino rejecting it out of hand.
Tonali is in his first season in the top flight with Brescia, and is attracting plenty of suitors.
Il Mattino report that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is a big admirer of the 19-year-old, and has already put an offer on the table for Tonali.
The newspaper suggests that De Laurentiis has offered €45m, which includes bonuses and various performance-related extras.
However Cellino has rejected the offer out of hand, believing Tonali to be worth close to double the amount of Napoli’s offer - €80m.
This is a figure the Partenopei can’t meet, however the paper states that both Presidents are on good terms, and will meet in April, in which Tonali could once again be a point of discussion.
