Orders had already come down from the Prime Minister and Minister for Sport that all sporting events would be suspended for Sunday February 23 in the Lombardy and Veneto regions.

This evening, the suspension order spread to Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna all the way to midnight on March 1, including schools, sporting events, universities, nurseries and museums.

On Sunday night, the Liguria and Friuli regions made the same order, again to midnight on March 1.

The only game set for the Liguria region during that period is Serie B fixture Entella-Crotone on Friday February 28.
