The former Roma coach Rudi Garcia must cope without star player Memphis Depay but will have a determined Moussa Dembele to prove his worth against the Old Lady.

Lyon will most likely come out in a 3-5-2 on Wednesday night and Houssem Aouar should get the chance to show Juventus why Jean-Michel Aulas predicts a future for him at the Allianz Arena.

Sarri should be tempted to play a 4-3-3 over the 4-3-1-2 he sometimes deploys and Colombian Cuadrado could get another chance at the right in an attacking trident with CR7 and the Argentine No10.

Gonzalo Higuain provided positive injury updates yesterday but will still be struggling to claim a place in the starting line-up.

Aaron Ramsey and Blaise Matuidi should also be overlooked, despite the Old Lady having rewarded the latter with a contract extension this week.

The Brazilian duo Danilo and Alex Sandro will play on either side of Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt, ahead of Wojciech Szczesny in goal.

Keep an eye out for youngster Aouar and the former Celtic forward Dembele in the opposition’s formation.

Lyon (probable): Lopes; Denayer, Marcelo, Marcal; Dubois, Guimaraes, Tousart, Aouar, Cornet; Toko Ekambi, Dembele

Juventus (probable): Szczesny; Danilo, De Ligt, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Bentancur, Pjanic, Rabiot; Cuadrado, Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo

Referee: Jesus Gil (Spain)
