Borja Valero assures Inter “would be babies to underestimate Ludogorets” in the Europa League, even if it’s just days before facing Juventus.

The first leg of the Round of 32 ended 2-0 in Bulgaria and the return is at San Siro behind closed doors on Thursday evening due to the Coronavirus scare.

“Football is a spectator sport, so it won’t be the same without any fans there, especially as San Siro has been practically full all season,” Borja Valero told Sky Sport Italia and Inter TV.

“Football is a spectator sport, so it won’t be the same without any fans there, especially as San Siro has been practically full all season,” Borja Valero told Sky Sport Italia and Inter TV.

“We have to do what we’re told and try to do our best. It didn’t help that we had our game with Sampdoria called off on Sunday, especially because it was tough training when the news was coming through and we weren’t sure if we’d play or not.

“There is no other option but to play behind closed doors now, so we’ll try to make the most of the situation.”

The upcoming Scudetto showdown with Juventus in Turin will also be played behind closed doors.

“We cannot think about that right now, because we would be babies to underestimate Ludogorets after the first leg. We have to do our best and we are taking the Europa League absolutely seriously.

“The more you go forward in this competition, the bigger the opponents you face.”
