Carles Perez set to continue on the wing as Henrikh Mkhitaryan replaces injured Lorenzo Pellegrini in the middle when Roma play KAA Gent in Belgium.

The match starts at 17:55 GMT.

Roma arrive in Belgium with a 1-0 advantage from the first leg at the Olimpico, where Perez opened his goalscoring account in the first leg against Gent.

He looks set to continue on the right wing during the return leg of the round of 32 in the Europa League tonight and Paulo Fonseca could give Justin Kluivert the chance to impress on the other wing.

Armenia international Mkhitaryan will be placed in the middle of the trident behind Edin Dzeko, as both Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolò Zaniolo are out injured.

Fonseca will most likely continue in a 4-2-3-1 with Bryan Cristante and Jordan Veretout in the holding midfield positions.

Chris Smalling is expected to take place next to Gianluca Mancini in the defence, with Leonardo Spinazzola at the right and Aleksandar Kolarov out left.

Gent are still looking to Canadian Jonathan David and Belgian Laurent Depoitre to create the required magic up front for the home side.

The two stars at either end of their respective careers have a combined tally of 37 goals so far this term.

Gent (probable): Kaminski, Castro Montes, Plastun, Ngadeu, Mohammadi; Odjidja-Ofoe, Owusu, Kums; Bezus; David, Depoitre

Roma (probable): Paul Lopez; Spinazzola, Mancini, Smalling, Kolarov; Cristante, Veretout; Perez, Mkhitaryan, Kluivert; Dzeko
