Genoa defender Edoardo Goldaniga is training separately from the rest of the squad, as he originates from Codogno, the focus of the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
The contagion in the Peninsula seems to have started in the Lombardy town, with most cases spreading out from there.
According to Il Secolo XIX newspaper, Genoa have agreed with Goldaniga that he will train separately from his teammates for a few days as a precaution.
He is showing no signs of the illness, but he and his family are from Codogno, so he is more at risk than most.
The latest figures released by the Italian authorities show 528 positive cases for Coronavirus in the country, 14 of them fatal.
