The plan gathering steam was to play Juventus-Inter on Monday March 9, but Inter and Napoli are the only clubs who reportedly voted against this.

Nerazzurri director Beppe Marotta had told reporters yesterday that the idea of March 9 showed “common sense,” but seems to have changed his mind.

An emergency meeting of the 20 Lega Serie A clubs is planned for tomorrow afternoon, when they will discuss and vote on what do from here on in.

There are as of today 2,036 positive cases of Coronavirus in Italy, with 52 deaths.

The vast majority – 1,254 – are in the Lombardy region, with 335 in Emilia-Romagna, 273 in Veneto and 51 in Piedmont.

Many of those who tested positive outside of Lombardy had either visited the region recently or been in close contact with someone who had.
