Serie B side Cremonese have officially fired coach Massimo Rastelli again and are due to bring in Pierpaolo Bisoli.

The decision was made following last night’s 3-2 home defeat to Empoli.

Cremonese have slipped to fourth from bottom, so are now in the relegation zone.

This is the second time Cremonese have sacked Rastelli, as he was already in charge from November 2018 to October 2019, then brought back on January 8.

It’s widely reported that Bisoli will be appointed as Rastelli’s replacement, as he is ready to give up four months of outstanding pay in order to terminate his contract with Padova.

Bisoli parted company with Padova in March 2019.
