Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has vowed to “do anything” to make the Rossoneri faithful “proud” against Genoa on Sunday.

The Diavolo will recover the postponed game from last weekend against Genoa on Sunday and Bennacer has revealed that it will be “strange” to carry out the game at an empty San Siro.

“It will be strange to play our next games behind closed doors, but health must come first,” he wrote on Twitter. “We will do everything we can to make Milan proud.

The 22-year-old has played 19 games in Serie A this term and has been one of Stefano Pioli’s most trusted men in recent months.

He arrived from Empoli last summer and the Algeria international has picked up an incredible 12 yellow cards in the League this term.
