Roma will reportedly travel to Seville for their Europa League Round of 16 first leg game against Sevilla by plane and bus. However, the game may not go ahead as several players of the home side don’t want to play the game.
The Giallorossi are due to play Sevilla in Spain tomorrow for the first leg of their Europa League Round of 16 clash.
However, this week the Spanish government cancelled all flights to and from Italy as an attempt to contain the Coronavirus.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma’s plan to reach Spain is to take a flight to Faro in Portugal, and then travel the rest of the way by coach to Seville.
However, there is another issue leading into the match.
Calciomercato.com suggests that several Sevilla players don’t want to play against the Giallorossi, and have expressed their concerns to upper management in the club.
It’s reported that some of the players also don’t want to continue playing in La Liga.
