Roma have officially announced that they won’t play against Sevilla in their Europa League Round of 16 first leg tomorrow due to a lack of authorisation from the local Spanish authorities.

The game had been in doubt as the Spanish government cancelled all flights to and from Italy.

Earlier reports suggested that the Giallorossi would fly to Portugal, and then travel by coach the rest of the way to Seville.

However the club issued a statement on social media to say that they wouldn’t play in tomorrow’s game due to a lack of authorisation from the Seville authorities.

It’s unknown at this stage when the game will be played.
