Now Valencia have released a statement confirming they have five members of the club, between players and staff, who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Spanish media have named the players as Garay, Eliaquim Mangala and Jose Gaya.

Mangala did play the first leg at San Siro on February 19, but was injured for the second on March 10.

Gaya played 90 minutes in both those matches against Atalanta.

Last night, the Spanish Government ordered similar lockdown measures to the ones already in place on Italian soil, as the number of cases shot up in recent days.

They are the first La Liga players to catch coronavirus.
