Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli could be heading back to San Siro, but this time the Milan youth product would be playing for Inter.
The 22-year-old initially started out with Atalanta, moving to the Milan academy when he was only 12 years old.
He was sold to Sassuolo in 2018 for €12m and became a regular for the Neroverdi.
According to Tuttosport, Inter coach Antonio Conte has set his sights on Locatelli as a potential summer reinforcement.
There is a good rapport between the clubs, who most recently did a deal for Stefano Sensi, on loan with option to buy.
Locatelli has contributed three assists in 20 Serie A games so far this season.
