Inter-owned goalkeeper Ionut Radu will return to the Nerazzurri this summer, according to the player’s agent.
Radu is on loan at Parma after a half-season stint at Genoa.
The Romanian’s agent, Oscar Damiani, spoke to FCInter1908.It about his client’s future.
“We haven’t talked about anything yet, but the plan is that Radu will stay at Inter next season,” Damiani told the website.
“All the rumours that have come out, including Udinese, are things that don’t concern us.
“Genoa? Radu is working, working for himself, and there is no problem. The world of football is like this and these are things that can happen.”
Damiani was then asked if Radu could have been an understudy to Samir Handanovic this season, in light of the Slovenian’s hand injury.
“Radu is a goalkeeper who has played and he could have made Inter comfortable, but then it went as it did, and we cannot reason in hindsight.
“Handanovic’s injury? The plan is that he will return to Inter. The player has signed a contract with them, an important deal that few teams can support in Italy and therefore he will stay with the Nerazzurri.”
