Vice-President Cosimo Sibilia has claimed the FIGC will need “a miracle” if they are supposed to conclude the season by June 30, 2020.
After UEFA’s decision to postpone the European Championship has opened for the European championships to find a way to conclude their respective Leagues and Cups.
And Sibilia has revealed that the FIGC will try to conclude the season on the pitch but face a tough task to come up with the correct plan, as we are still uncertain about the extent of the Coronavirus outbreak.
“We will have to do the impossible to conclude this season on the pitch,” he told Il Mattino. “The verdicts that count are the ones issued on the pitch.
“In general, if we were to succeed by June 30, it would be a miracle, because it would mean that we will have come out of this nightmare much earlier.
“Also, because health must be prioritised above everything else.”
