Roma are reportedly prepared to negotiate with Chelsea to keep Davide Zappacosta at the Olimpico for another season.
Zappacosta has been through a nightmare of injuries since he arrived on loan last summer, initially struggling with a calf injury, before he ruptured his Cruciate Ligament in October 2019.
Despite only playing one game for the Giallorossi, the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira has reported that the right-bac would like to stay in the Italian capital.
The 27-year-old returned to Italy on a loan deal after struggling to convince at Stamford Bridge.
Former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte brought the player to London from Torino in August 2017 and the former Atalanta defender has appeared 52 times across all tournaments for the Blues.
He has been limited to 12 minutes on the pitch at Roma, who are reportedly working on extending his current loan deal with another year.
