Juventus are only formalities away from extending Giorgio Chiellini's contract at the Allianz Stadium, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper underlines that the BBC of Juventus, Gianluigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci and Chiellini are planning for the future with the Old Lady.
Both Buffon and Chiellini are on expiring contracts, but previous reports have understood that the veteran goalkeeper, turning 43 during next season, has already agreed to stay on with the Bianconeri.
Now, the report claims the captain has already agreed a new deal beyond his current contract expiring in June 2020 and only the signature is missing for it to be official.
The centre-half picked up a serious knee injury in the first game of the season and had recently returned to action before the season was suspended.
He has currently played three games and scored once, after deciding the first game of the campaign against Parma.
