Now, Schira is reporting a deal has moved a step closer, with the Ligue 1 giants proposing a five-year contract worth €10m plus bonuses.
The 28-year-old would come in as a direct replacement for ex-Milan man Thiago Silva, who will leave PSG this summer at the earliest.
Manchester United have also been linked with Koulibaly in recent weeks.
