Roma have reportedly set their sights on securing Shakhtar Donetsk trio Viktor Kovalenko, Marcos Antonio and Tete for next season.

Roma boss Paulo Fonseca worked with the trio at Shakhtar, where he won domestic doubles in each of his three seasons between 2016 and 2019.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport claims Fonseca would like to work with them at Roma.

Kovalenko, 24, is a central midfielder with 25 caps for Ukraine. He can also play as an attacking midfielder, although he has managed just six league starts to date this season.
