Lucas Torreira wants to leave Arsenal for a return to Serie A, claim reports, with his agent offering him to Milan and Napoli.
According to Calciomercato.com, the 24-year-old Uruguay international is increasingly frustrated with Arsenal and hoping for another experience in Italy.
The Gunners paid €29m to sign him from Sampdoria in the summer of 2018, but he spent most of his career in the Peninsula with Pescara and then Samp.
Torreira made 33 competitive appearances for Arsenal this season, contributing two goals and an assist, but struggled with an ankle injury.
Calciomercato.com claim this evening that his agent Pablo Bentancurt has contacted Milan and Napoli to suggest a possible summer transfer.
It’s certainly not the first time that Torreira has been linked with Milan, although it was previously because he wanted a reunion with coach Marco Giampaolo, who has since been sacked.
