Diego Godin has been linked with a move away from Inter this summer, an operation that could reportedly save the Nerazzurri up to €20m.
Godin arrived on a free transfer after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired after last season but has struggled to convince for the Nerazzurri during his first year in Milan.
The Uruguay international could be heading for the door this summer but his high salary in the fashion capital could also provide a problem for possible suitors.
The former Rojiblancos captain earns around €5m a year plus bonuses at Inter and his contract expires in 2022.
Calciomercato.com claims Inter could free up to €20m on wages and reports in Italy have suggested that the Nerazzurri already have targeted Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla as his ideal replacement at the Giuseppe Meazza.
But the outlet reveals that Inter and Godin are still waiting for the right offer to arrive.
