Fiorentina and Wolves striker Patrick Cutrone admits he was “struggling to move” when suffering from coronavirus, but is back to training now.
The forward was one of several Viola players and staff who tested positive for COVID-19.
“I was in bed with a fever for quite a few days, I had a sore throat, cough and my muscles were aching,” Cutrone told Sky Sport Italia.
“I was struggling to move or many any real effort, but I’ve been able to train at home for the last two to three weeks. A few days ago I had a new test and that showed up negative, so I’ve fully recovered and feel fine.”
Teammates German Pezzella and Dusan Vlahovic also tested negative, confirming they have recovered from the illness.
