Roma attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has revealed his ‘best goal’ for the Giallorossi came against Sassuolo in his first game for the club.
The Arsenal loanee has scored six times and contributed three assists in his 13 Serie A games for Roma, but the debut against the Neroverdi remains his favourite moment.
“My best goal so far with Roma was the one at Sassuolo in my first game,” the 31-year-old said on Twitter. “Because it was my debut and I was very excited.
“The impact from the stadium in the first game was exciting. We won and I scored, I had waited for two weeks and was very happy at the end of the match.”
Despite having been limited by injuries, the attacker has reportedly convinced Roma, who are now working on bringing the Armenia international on a permanent deal from the Gunners.
