Antonio Floro Flores has revealed that he doesn’t regret rejecting a move to Juventus, despite believing it could have led to 'a better career'.
But the former Udinese forward reveals that he was trying to escape coach Francesco Guidolin whilst at the Friuli and admits a move to the Old Lady might have improved his options for the rest of his career.
“I was young. If I had gone to Juventus, maybe I would have had a better career, but I wouldn’t have started matches,” Floro Flores told Corriere dello Sport. “I don’t regret that choice.
“The only hasty decision I made was due to Guidolin, in my time at Udinese. We didn’t get along, so I ran away from him and accepted the offer from Granada.”
Floro Flores, who retired after a stint at Casertana in January 2019, came back from Granada after only six months and moved to Genoa on a permanent deal before playing for Sassuolo, Chievo and Bari.
