FIGC President Gabriele Gravina says Juventus’ stance on not accepting the Scudetto if it was offered to them is ‘appreciated’ by his board.

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli hinted last month that he would not accept the Serie A title based on current standings, having ‘liked’ a Twitter post.

Although the stance is not official, Gravina agrees with the sentiment, that the Scudetto can only be won on the pitch.

Although the stance is not official, Gravina agrees with the sentiment, that the Scudetto can only be won on the pitch.

“Only the Federal Council can assign the Scudetto, but Juve’s position is appreciated,” he told reporters.

“The title is also won on the pitch for me.”

The Bianconeri topped the table before coronavirus broke out, with 63 points from 26 games.
