Despite winning five consecutive Serie A titles and reaching the Champions League Final twice, Allegri was essentially fired by Juventus last summer to make way for Maurizio Sarri.

He has been repeatedly linked with Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain benches.

Newcastle United’s current manager is Steve Bruce.
