“It all started with a general feeling of being unwell, along with a fever and coughing. My head was hurting so much, I thought at first it was just a migraine. With all these symptoms together, the club doctor suggested a test for COVID-19 and I was positive.

“It was impossible to train, I felt so weak. One day, I almost fainted in the shower. I’d never felt pain like it and lost all my strength. Fortunately, I’ve been able to start training again over the last few days, I feel good and can’t wait to get back on the pitch.

“I have learned that coronavirus cannot be underestimated. Health and safety is the absolute priority, so let’s all respect the rules and keep hope alive. Together, we’ll get out of this situation.”
