While plans are taking shape for Serie A to resume soon, the Italian Federation has officially terminated various youth and women’s leagues for this season.

The coronavirus pandemic is continuing, and although Serie A is tipped for a return at the end of May, the same cannot be guaranteed for lower tier competitions.

The FIGC therefore announced this evening that the 2019-20 season is over for several different youth and women’s tournaments.

The FIGC therefore announced this evening that the 2019-20 season is over for several different youth and women’s tournaments.

These include the Primavera Women’s League, Under-18 Serie A and B, Under-17 Serie A and B, Under-17 Serie C, Under-16 Serie A and B, Under-16 Serie C, Under-15 Serie A, B and C.

However, the Berretti, Primavera 1 and Primavera 2 divisions are not terminated, so could still be completed at a later date.
