Inter are determined to lock down their centre-backs Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij to new contracts amid Premier League interest.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, the Nerazzurri have been hard at work behind the scenes to figure out new deals for the defenders.

It’s suggested Skriniar has even already signed the agreement, extending a contract that currently expires in June 2023.

Intensive negotiations are also in place for De Vrij, who left Lazio as a free agent in the summer of 2018.

FCInterNews.it note that De Vrij earns far less, even 50 per cent, of what other more seasoned centre-backs are currently receiving at Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all interested in the Inter defensive pairing.

The 28-year-old Dutch international also has a contract to June 2023, but is eager to extend at the Olimpico.
