Lega: 'Clubs agree on finishing campaign'

The Lega has passed the ball to the government after announcing their ‘intention to complete the 2019-20 season’ with all 20 Serie A clubs on board.

“The Assembly of the Lega Serie A met this morning and confirmed, with the unanimous vote of all 20 clubs in video conference, the intention to complete the 2019-20 season, if the government allows it and in full compliance with the rules for the protection of health and safety,” the Lega said in a statement after the summit.

“The resumption of sporting activity in the so-called Phase Two, as already highlighted in the past, will take place in accordance with the indications of FIFA and UEFA, with the decisions of the FIGC, as well as in compliance with the medical protocols to protect the players and staff.”
