The former Inter, Milan and Juventus star will be starting a new chapter as a tactician and has previously claimed he doesn’t want to start a youth coaching role, hinted that he might have to leave Italy to get his first opportunity.

“I was doing a master, in September we should be ready, everything is suspended now,” Pirlo told Christian Vieri in an interview on Instagram Live. “We had to see [Hellas Verona coach Ivan] Juric and [Lazio coach Simone] Inzaghi, but everything has stopped.

“I have spoken to some teams, now let’s see. I don’t mind moving and I don’t have any problems going abroad.

“I was in New York as a player, I can start elsewhere. If you must get there, you can do it also starting elsewhere.

“I don’t miss football, I’m ready for something else. After two years at home, I know what I want to do.”
