A Vasco da Gama presidential candidate has promised to target Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli and Sebastian Giovinco if he is elected.
Luiz Roberto Leven Siano announced his plans for the Brazilian side to FOXSports.com.br, which he hopes include the three forwards.
“We’re negotiating, trying to build the Vasco of our dreams,” he vowed.
“Balotelli and Ibrahimovic have the same agent. Ibrahimovic would be a more daring project.
“Right now we don’t have to think about which great players will arrive, only that we’ll bring in great players.
“If it’s not one then it’ll be another. If we have players at the level of Balotelli and Giovinco then we’ll have a competitive team.”
The website adds how Leven Siano has already formed partnerships with Raiola and Italian businessman Fabio Cordella.
Ibrahimovic and Balotelli returned to Serie A this season with Milan and Brescia, while Giovinco currently plays in Saudi Arabia for Al-Hilal.
Vasco won the Copa Libertadores in 1998 and Campeonato Brasileiro in 2000 but have been in decline ever since.
