Sporting CP have paid Sinisa Mihajlovic €3m in compensation after he won the unfair dismissal case against the club, claim A Bola.
The coach is currently at Bologna, but he was hired by Sporting on June 18, 2018.
It was a strange scenario, as he was appointed by President Bruno de Carvalho, who was then ousted in a board room coup just days later.
The new patron was Sousa Cintra and immediately fired Mihajlovic on June 27, wanting to take the club in a totally new direction.

He won his legal action against Sporting Lisbon and was awarded €3m in damages.
A Bola newspaper claim this morning that the payment has now been made to Mihajlovic.
