Juventus have confirmed that Paulo Dybala has fully recovered from COVID-19 and his latest tests proved negative, so he can return to training.

The Argentina international was the third Juve player to test positive for coronavirus in March, after Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi.

The Argentina international was the third Juve player to test positive for coronavirus in March, after Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi.

However, while Rugani and Matuidi were given the all-clear on April 15, it took Dybala longer to fully shake the virus off.

Juve released a statement this evening confirming that Dybala had undergone the double swab test and both came back negative.

He is therefore fully healed and can leave self-isolation after 45 days, returning to training soon.

“My face says it all, I’m finally cured from COVID-19!” wrote La Joya on Instagram with a big grin on his face, standing outside in the sunshine.

Both Dybala and his girlfriend Oriana tested positive on March 21 and had been self-isolating together.
