Antonio Cassano says he is still expecting Paris Saint-Germain to pay €70m for Inter striker Mauro Icardi this summer.
Doubts have been raised over whether PSG will take up their option to buy Icardi, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, but Cassano insists the loanee still befits his €70m price tag.
“I know for sure that Icardi won’t stay at Inter,” the former Nerazzurri ace remarked on Instagram.
“He’s away right now and he won’t wear this shirt again, even if he returns from his loan to Paris Saint Germain.
“In my opinion, Inter will collect the 70m from PSG for Icardi: this valuation, for a player like him, can still be given to you.
“His value remains unchanged even if, after the Coronavirus, I don’t know who can afford to make certain investments anymore.
“He certainly won’t play for Inter again.”
