Genoa started the season with Aurelio Andreazzoli on the bench, fired him on October 22 to make way for Thiago Motta, who was also sacked to pave the way for Nicola.

The campaign has been shut down since March 10 due to the coronavirus pandemic and all clubs will have to change their approach to the transfer market.

“I think UEFA will have to modify the Financial Fair Play restrictions, because we can forget about paying some figures in future. Negotiations will take longer, because they’ll be based far more on exchanges than cash.”
